ADM203 - Digital Manufacturing Project

This module is part of the Specialist Diploma in Advanced Digital Manufacturing and provides the practical aspects of the important characteristics of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS). The state-of-the-art learning equipment called the Cyber-Physical Factory will be used to facilitate the learning of creating a digital representation of the production system, the concept of modularity, and flexibility that are vital to increasing productivity and adaptability of the production configurations to meet the changing demands of the market requirements. Participants will be working on the Cyber-Physical Factory with hands-on exercises using both the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Digital Simulation Software in combination.
